Screen sites and track utility tariffs from your own software.
One call returns the GridPermit site screen as structured data: the flags that kill power-first deals early, the utilities that may serve the site, the large-load tariff terms that apply, and the projects competing for the same ground. Every row names its source, and anything we could not confirm says so instead of guessing.
Ask about the free 60-day pilotWhat you can do
Screen a site
Send coordinates or a US address. Get risk, watch and good signals for flood, wetlands, habitat, seismic, terrain, access, water, gas, fiber and power policy, with the serving utilities.
Rank a land list
Submit up to 25 sites at once. Get them back in a visible screening order, fewest risk flags first, as JSON or CSV. Open any site for its full result.
Read the tariff
Large-load tariff status, threshold and the terms each filing states (contract term, ramp, minimum bill, collateral, exit fee, notice), with the source and the date we last reviewed it.
Estimate the commitment
Turn a utility's stated terms into dollars for your contract size and demand charge: first-year minimum, total over the term, collateral and exit exposure.
Get tariff alerts
Register a webhook and get a signed event when a watched commission docket changes or we update a tariff record, filtered to the states you care about.
Watch your sites
Register a site and get a signed alert when planned infrastructure or tariff records near it change. We check daily, and you delete the site whenever you like.
See what is around a site
List the gas pipelines, power plants, known data centers and planned projects within up to 50 miles of a point, as JSON, CSV or GeoJSON for your map.
Read the history
See what changed on a watched docket and when, with the lines that appeared and disappeared, plus every update to our tariff table. History is recorded from launch; it is not back-filled.
Send alerts to your team
Webhooks can post straight into Slack or Microsoft Teams, filtered to the states and utilities you follow, and a missed alert can be replayed.
Send a client-ready PDF
One call returns the branded PDF screen with a map, the findings and the tariff cards, with your client's name and yours on the cover.

}What it is, and is not. This is screening information from public data. It is not legal, engineering, utility-capacity or investment advice, and it does not tell you that power is available or that a site can be permitted. Grid and queue signals are indicators, never spare capacity. A tariff term a filing does not state is shown as not stated. A site that a data source could not check says Not screened.
Plans
Every plan can call every endpoint. Plans differ in volume and in how much you can watch and look back on. Pricing is set per customer; ask and we will quote it.
| Pro | Team | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | For one analyst or a small shop screening sites every week. | For a land or development team that screens in volume and wants alerts across a portfolio. | Custom volume, support terms and data delivery. |
| Screens per month | 250 | 1,500 | From 10,000, custom |
| Sites per batch | 50 | 100 | 200 |
| Watched sites | 50 | 250 | 1,000 |

| Requests per minute | 60 | 300 | 600 |
| Going over your screens | Overage on request | Overage on request | Overage included |
A new key starts at half its request rate, daily records, lookups and exports for 30 days, then ramps to full over the next 15. Your screens quota is not reduced. A new key also needs the API terms accepted once (one call) before it works.
Build with it
- A JavaScript client and a Python client, each a single file with no dependencies.
- An OpenAPI description and a Postman collection for key holders, so a generator or Postman is set up in a minute.
- Sandbox keys that return a fixed sample, a public changelog and a status page with 90 days of history.
How the pilot works
- Free for 60 days with 100 screens, for a small number of brokers, developers, lenders and consultants.
- A sandbox key lets your developers build and test the integration before the pilot starts.
- In return we ask for short, honest feedback every week or so.
- If it is useful, the first year is half price. If not, you owe nothing.
- Single screens store nothing about what you screened. Batches are held for 24 hours so you can collect them, then deleted.
